I love to bathe in it, drink it, swim in it. I sure do love to swim! Mama had her company picnic at Lake Bruin a couple of weeks ago. Here is more proof that I'm a fish. I'm a stylish swimmer though! I rode on the boat and drove the jetski. I even swam from one pier to the next and back. I had such a great time that I sacked out on the way home! I can't wait until we get to go back next year! My posts for most of the summer will be the same. Me and the pool. I love to swim. I love to play in the pool. I love to swing after I swim. I love to crash early after an afternoon of swimming. So there's my recap. Now for the pictures! A little of this.. A little of that... And more of this.. Then, when it got dark, I watched Toy Story 1 and 2. Then tried to catch the millions of fireflies we saw in the backyard. My Mama needs help learning how to catch them. She only caught 1!!! Such a tough tough weekend for a big girl like me. Daddy is on a shift I don't like very much. Hurry up 3-11 and be over. I miss my Daddy. You know I'm a Daddy's girl right? And Papaw's! A lot of fun in the sun and the water! It all started with a little of this on Saturday with my friends at Eagle Lake. And continued into some swinging with the Silver Fox. And then some flag wavin that at one point got a little dangerous and they made up put them up. Then we concluded the night by catching 'firefwies' at Firefly Hill and I was dubbed Princess by Miss Jenny! What a wonderful Saturday we had. Then on Sunday, after church and a nap, we headed out to Nana and Papaw's for some fishing! It was a little too hot and a little too muddy from the rain the day before but I still had time to chalk their driveway! On Monday, after me and Mama and Daddy washed vehicles, we headed out to Hayes' for our annual Memorial Day pool party! What fun we had. We even learned to slip and slide, thanks to Uncle Tony for teaching us! Hayes and I took a little dip in the pool! Then went and played in the dirt. Then we had a little snack. YOGURT! We finished off the day by watching Alvin and the Chipmunks and taking another HUGE bubble bath! I had to much fun this weekend! I even got to see Hayes and Nana today and play at the Art Park. I thought and thought about it and told him I wanted a beam like at gymnastics. Apparently word got around the my Papaw and he made one for me on his day off Monday. I was soooooo excited when I saw it on Tuesdsay! I hear he made one for my Mama many years ago. He's still got it! I love it!! I also love my tutu that Nana gave me but she said it had to stay at her a while. That's ok too! Last weekend, I helped Mom and Dad get the backyard ready for our pool. I want it up NOW. I love swimming and am ready to go! Here is where my pool is going to go. Now if I could just get Daddy to finish it up. He's kinda slow sometimes but I sure do love him. Well, it's the end of the school year for some. Not really for me but I'll be moving up to a new class sometime this summer. Will it be Mrs. Kim or Mrs. Karen? I like them both. I'm just sad I don't have gymnastics next week. But I'm ready for our summer class! I've been on my best behavior this week! Mama says I can go to Mimi's Friday night if I'm good. Then I'll get to go to the lake with Mama and see KK and some of my friends. I can't wait to play in the water. Mama says I'm a fish and I tell her I'm not, that I'm Sydney and she just laughs. I also told her the other night that I sure did love my Mama but some days I just didn't know what I was going to do with her! I say the funniest things! I'm still enjoying gymnastics and I'm headed for 3 hours of fun Saturday night at the gym with a few of my friends. I can't wait! Mother's Day was Sunday. Not so sure what that's about since I think it's all about Mom anyway. hehe. Yeah right. I'm a Daddy's girl but spend a lot of time with my Mama! We went to Nana and Papaw's for lunch on Sunday. We got to see Aunt Holly's pretty new ride. We also did some swinging and 4-wheeler riding. We also hung out with the sweet little Whitt! I call him my baby brother but everyone knows he's really my cousin! Daddy finally finished my closet. He finished my room a long time ago but didn't have time to redo the closet. Now he has. I think he just wanted Mama to stop bothering him about it. I love it! Except that I can't reach the light switch because a shelf is in the way. Oh well. Mama can do it. And here's my favorite guy! Like I said, I'm a Daddy's girl! I miss him when he's working, even though I know he's there making me some money. He even brings me some home sometimes! So there's a short recap. I'm off to nap now.
